Accountability: EldersPosition: The Lead Pastor is responsible for shepherding, preaching, vision casting, and leading the church in a growing community. As one of the elders, the Lead Pastor is tasked with cultivating a collaborative environment within the elder body and developing growing leaders.Duties/Responsibilities:Preaching and teachingShepherd congregation, staff, volunteers, leaders, and ministry teams.Provide pastoral care to the congregation which includes but not limited to counseling, hospital visits, and other needsWork with elder body in cultivating vision for the futurePerform other duties as neededQualifications:Maintain a relationship with God that you enjoy and has influence over your life, appetites, and understandingLove, nourish and enjoy your wifeLead your family with gravity, gusto, and gladnessPossess a proven track record of effective leadership and team developmentBe in agreement with the doctrinal position of the church (consistent with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000)
