A Nurse Manager (RN) position is available in Reno, Nevada, within a specialized intensive care unit. This leadership role requires overseeing nursing staff and ensuring quality, cost-effective patient care in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Reno, Nevada
• Specialty: Nurse Manager
• Schedule: Typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM; schedule may vary based on department needs and may include work outside of regular hours for business needs. Minimum Hours Per Week: 40.0 hours
• Required Qualifications: Valid license to obtain and maintain a State of Nevada Registered Nurse (RN) license; Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; 5+ years managerial experience at a Level I or II facility; Critical Care/Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience required.
• Additional Information: Expectation to be able to perform patient care duties if unit demands it; may be required to float to meet organization needs, up to their competency level; may need to pick up an additional shift during the schedule period; flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and call shifts as needed.
• Responsibilities: The position involves planning and leading staff to deliver high-quality patient care, managing staff performance, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards. The manager acts as a change agent, leads operational performance, and supports the organizations mission and values.
