Job Description

South X South Waste is seeking an experienced CDL A or B Roll-Off Driver to join our growing team. This position reports to Dispatch and is responsible for safely operating a roll-off truck hauling materials such as C&D waste, brush, scrap, and other jobsite debris.
We are looking for a safety-focused professional who operates equipment responsibly, maintains a professional demeanor with customers and coworkers, and takes pride in delivering quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and comply with FMCSA and DOT regulations
* Safely deliver, swap, and remove roll-off containers at job sites
* Operate hydraulic systems and lifting mechanisms properly and safely
* Complete all required paperwork and daily logs accurately
* Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic daily service checks
* Perform routine preventative maintenance such as oil checks, greasing components, changing filters
* Report all accidents, injuries, or equipment issues immediately
* Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and wear required PPE at all times
* Assume other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned by management.
* Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule

Qualifications & Requirements:

* Class A or B CDL required
* Minimum 3 years of roll-off truck driving experience required. xhqgsiq
* Ability to +/- 60 hours per week to include Saturdays with overtime (hours not guaranteed)
* Clean driving record
* Ability to pass DOT physical and drug test
* Able to lift up to 50 lbs
* Able to climb in and out of truck multiple times per day using 3 points of contact
* Able to bend, stoop, and perform full vehicle and container inspections
* Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
