Setting: State Prison. Pay Range: $1850 weekly. Schedule: Nights, 36 hours per week, every other weekend, holidays as needed. Contract Length: 13 to 26 weeks. Requirements: 3-5 years of experience as an RN Qualified applicants must have at least 1-3 years of experience in a correctional setting Valid Registered Nurse license Be willing to obtain Virginia licensure Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and deliver acute and chronic care services within the scope of an RN in a correctional setting. Manage medication administration, triage, and emergency response procedures in alignment with correctional healthcare standards. Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) to accurately document patient care, treatment plans, and follow-up in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
