Were br/ br/ seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team to help with store operations, customer service and team development. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Assist br/ br/ with store functions and day-to-day store activities br/ br/ Help customers in br/ br/ a positive, approachable manner and address any questions or concerns they may have br/ br/ Help organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor as needed and ensure the seasonal areas of the store are maintained br/ br/ Perform opening and closing procedures as needed br/ br/ Process all corporate directives br/ br/ including Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, Key Survey information requests and any br/ br/ additional br/ br/ communications related to store activities br/ br/ Maintain promotional effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays br/ br/ Assist br/ br/ in ordering merchandise, br/ br/ processing damaged merchandise, br/ br/ record keeping (including payroll, scheduling, and cash register deposits and receipts), and loss prevention br/ br/ Maintain areas of the store, including br/ br/ a well-stocked br/ br/ sales floor br/ br/ and organized stockroom, br/ br/ to company standards br/ br/ Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash br/ br/ Adhere to policies and procedures br/ br/ including safety guidelines br/ br/ and ensure all store associates follow company policies and procedures br/ br/ Help the Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates br/ br/ Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while br/ br/ maintaining br/ br/ professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders br/ br/ Responsible for br/ br/ maintaining br/ br/ the cleanliness throughout the store, including br/ br/ cleaning br/ br/ and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable br/ br/ Other duties as assigned* br/ br/ Skills and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives (e.g., merchandise schematics, etc.) is br/ br/ required br/ br/ Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred br/ br/ Must be able to br/ br/ lift up br/ br/ to 55 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting br/ br/ Strong communication br/ br/ , interpersonal, and written skills are br/ br/ required br/ br/ Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is br/ br/ required br/ br/ Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are br/ br/ required br/ br/ Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are br/ br/ required br/ br/ Perks and Benefits: We offer a wide variety of rewards to support your health, wealth, and mental well-being.
