About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate Chief Medical Officer to join their team and play a key role in the development of AI-driven healthcare products. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical expertise to guide the design and iteration of these products, ensuring they meet the highest safety, quality, and regulatory standards. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and go-to-market, to align the products with clinical needs and market demands. The Associate Chief Medical Officer will also serve as a clinical leader and mentor, advocating for evidence-based approaches and patient-centered care throughout the product lifecycle.

Applicants must have an MD or DO degree with active, unrestricted medical licensure, at least 5 years of clinical practice, and a proven track record in healthcare product development. Strong communication skills and the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders are essential. The ideal candidate will have a background in health tech or startup environments, experience in leading cross-disciplinary teams, and familiarity with AI/ML applications in healthcare. A deep understanding of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and FDA guidelines, is a must, as is the ability to translate clinical needs into product specifications and to ensure the clinical relevance, accuracy, and usability of AI models and tools.
