Think of this role as a Controller-in-training — you will handle core accounting work, own key reconciliations, and help drive the month-end close.
You will work closely with Operations and Finance to turn transactional data into clear, useful information. This position reports to the VP of Finance.

We continue to develop our space for idea generation and collaborative work.Duties & ResponsibilitiesDay to DayPrepare journal entries, accruals, and supporting schedulesComplete balance sheet reconciliations, including cash, inventory, and prepaid accountsManage daily cash position and weekly cash forecastsAnalyze job costs, spending, and margins for OperationsResearch and resolve accounting discrepanciesMaintain documentation for accounting processes and controlsOwn assigned sections of the month-end close checklist
StrategicBuild and provide financial reports and dashboards for leadershipPrepare audit schedules and support requests from outside CPAsSupport budgeting, forecasting, and variance analyses.Identify and support process and system improvements that can make the Finance department more efficient and accurate.Required Qualifications3+ years of accounting or financial analysis experienceBachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceSolid understanding of GAAP, journal entries, and reconciliationsStrong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, modeling)High attention to detail and accuracyStrong communication skills and ability to work across departmentsSelf-motivated, organized, and able to manage deadlinesPreferred QualificationsExperience in a manufacturing environmentFamiliarity with ERP systemsProgress toward a CPA or CMAExperience with reporting or BI tools
