Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition SummaryRBC AeroStructures is seeking a Shipper/Receiver to join our growing 2nd shift team. This position plays a critical role in supporting production and customer delivery requirements by ensuring accurate receipt, storage, movement, and shipment of materials and products. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments ranging from small parcels to large freight deliveries and raw material bundles. ScheduleFull-Time2nd Shift (3pm - 11PM)Overtime available as needed Some Essential ResponsibilitiesReceive incoming raw materials, parts, and supplies; inspect shipments for accuracy and visible damageUnload and process freight deliveries, parcel shipments, and vendor materialsPull materials and components for production work orders and deliver them to designated areas on the manufacturing floorPackage, label, and prepare finished products and materials for shipment according to company and customer requirementsBuild and assemble wooden shipping crates and containers using carpentry and power toolsOperate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficientlyMaintain accurate inventory transactions and shipping documentationOrganize materials and maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environmentFollow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyBasic math skills, including counting, measuring, and inventory verificationBasic computer proficiency: experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is a plusAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a manufacturing environmentCommitment to workplace safety and quality standards Preferred Qualifications1 to 3 years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, inventory control, or material handling experiencePrevious experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipmentTechnical school certification or related training is a plusPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods on concrete surfacesFrequent bending, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching, and liftingAbility to lift, push, and pull up to 35 pounds independently; heavier items require team lifting or mechanical assistanceAbility to safely use hand and power tools, including drills and sawsAbility to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment Why Join Our Team?Competitive pay, plus shift differential Comprehensive benefits packagePaid time off and holidaysStable, growing manufacturing environmentCareer development and advancement opportunitiesTeam-oriented culture focused on quality If you're looking for an opportunity to put your skills to work with a company that values craftsmanship, quality, and employee growth, we want to hear from you.Our success is driven by a commitment to technical excellence, continuous improvement, and a customer-focused approach.
