About this role

The NPI (New Product Introduction) Engineer leads the industrialization and launch of new products at a Carrier manufacturing facility, ensuring successful, on-time, on-quality launches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leads the industrialization and launch of new products (NPI).
  • Coordinates APQP, PPAP and process-validation phases.
  • Partners with Design, Manufacturing and Quality on transfer to production.
  • Manages pilot runs, validations and product release.
  • Ensures projects meet time, cost and quality gates.
  • Documents processes and standards for new products.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3+ years of NPI or product-industrialization experience in manufacturing.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Experience with product launches in high-growth environments.
  • Project-management and CAD proficiency; PMP or Six Sigma preferred.
  • CAD and quality-tools proficiency.
  • Hands-on experience with APQP, PPAP and process validation.
  • Proven ability to manage launches to time, cost and quality gates.
  • Experience coordinating pilot runs, validations and production transfer with cross-functional teams.

Pay Range

The annual salary for this position is between $79,000.00 - $158,000.00 annually.

Other Compensation

Thisposition may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
