Spearfish Canyon Healthcare Registered Nurse (RN) Spearfish Canyon Healthcare is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the long-term care unit at our beautiful skilled nursing facility. Duties and Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive Registered Nurse (RN) care for residents

Perform comprehensive nursing assessments of residents and evaluate changes in condition to ensure appropriate interventions and care planning

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the attending physician and in accordance with facility policies and professional nursing standards

Provide skilled nursing care including wound care, IV therapy (as permitted by state practice), tube feedings, suctioning, catheter care, and other complex nursing procedures

Supervise, delegate, and provide clinical guidance to LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing personnel in accordance with state nurse practice acts

Ensure care plans are developed, implemented, and updated based on resident assessments and interdisciplinary team input

Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and effective resident care

Accurately complete all required documentation, assessments, and clinical records in a timely manner and in accordance with regulatory standards

Skills and Qualifications

BSN from an accredited school of nursing required

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by South Dakota required

BLS certification from the AHA required
