Salary Range: $27.14 - $36.72 per hour Excellent Benefits Package Job Summary We are seeking an experienced CNC to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce precision-machined components that meet strict quality and tolerance requirements. The ideal candidate has strong machining knowledge, can interpret engineering drawings, calculate feeds and speeds, edit CNC programs and offsets, troubleshoot machining issues, and use precision measuring equipment to verify part quality. This position requires a commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and producing high-quality parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Requirements: Set up and operate CNC machines - mills and lathes - to produce precision components. Set up, modify, and maintain fixtures, cutting tools, and work holding as needed to meet production requirements. Calculate appropriate cutting speeds, feeds, and machining parameters based on material and tooling. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to manufacture parts to specification. Machine parts to required tolerances while maintaining high-quality standards. Perform CNC program edits, including G-code, M-code, offsets, and tool compensation adjustments. Troubleshoot machining issues and identify corrective actions to minimize downtime and scrap. Monitor tool wear, establish tool replacement intervals, and perform tooling changes as needed. Perform routine fixture maintenance and machine setup adjustments. Inspect completed parts using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, radius gauges, and machinist protractors. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area. Identify opportunities for process improvements and collaborate with team members to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Associate degree in Machining Technology or related technical field or an accredited machining trade or vocational school certificate Minimum of five (5) years of CNC machining experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Experience setting up and operating multiple types of machine shop equipment.
