RN Charge-Labor & Delivery PRN - 7412-2965 Starr Athens Regional Medical Center

Description RN -Labor & Delivery - positions available. PRN - variable shifts. Core competencies for the position include but are not limited to the following:

Provides for the individual rights of patients.

Directs / provides for appropriate assessment / re-assessment of patients.

Plans and provides appropriate nursing care based on the individual patient's assessed needs.

Provides healthcare education to patients and/or families.

Provides continuity of care by enlisting the services of other healthcare team members.

Manages patient care to ensure safety and minimize risk to the patient, family, and the organization.

Manages time and supplies effectively.

Communicates and documents pertinent information to all appropriate individuals in the continuum of care.

Demonstrates knowledge of and adherence to National Patient Safety Goals and Core Measures.

Qualifications Qualifications for the position include but are not limited to:

RN licensure in the State of Tennessee required.

BLS required.

Women's, Pediatric, and Nursery experience preferred.
