Description:

The client is seeking a mission-driven Program Manager to enhance its network's reach and impact, supporting over 165,000 children by distributing more than 270,000 books. The role involves working closely with the Ohio Executive Director to ensure high-quality program implementation, build clinical and community partnerships, and foster early literacy and health equity. An ideal candidate is a collaborative problem solver who thrives in dynamic environments, balancing relationship-building with data-driven quality improvement. The Program Manager will report to the Ohio Executive Director and is expected to have a strong knowledge of Central and Southwest Ohio to bolster the clients presence and deepen engagements with partners and communities statewide.

Key responsibilities include supporting program quality by partnering with clinic teams to implement the clients model consistently and effectively. The Program Manager will conduct both virtual and in-person meetings to assess clinic performance, identify challenges, and devise improvement strategies, while maintaining strong relationships with clinicians and administrators. Additionally, the role involves data management to ensure accuracy and provide insights for quality improvement and performance evaluation. It also includes engaging in regional and statewide partnership initiatives, representing the client at community meetings, and aiding clinics in resource management, particularly related to book support and funding distribution.

Candidates should have experience in rural or under-invested communities, with a comprehensive understanding of the unique challenges and strengths present in such settings. A strong background in healthcare, social work, or related fields for over two years is preferred, alongside previous remote work experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in relevant software like Microsoft Office. Flexibility, organizational skills, and reliable transportation for regional travel within Ohio are essential, as is a proven ability to foster partnerships through culturally responsive engagement.
