This position is eligible for an additional sign on bonus and daily per diem.
Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, medication management, crisis intervention, and continuity of behavioral health care for patients in a secure residential setting, in accordance with community standards of care, credentialing requirements, facility policies, and applicable accreditation and regulatory requirements. The Psychiatrist supports on-site and telehealth psychiatry services, contributes to the management of serious mental illness, suicide precautions, and transfer planning, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure timely, culturally competent, trauma-informed, and appropriately documented patient care.
