 GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB

Safety Leader shall provide guidance and direction for the planning, implementation and operation of Quad’s Safety Management System (SMS) resulting in a safe working environment for employees and sustained regulatory compliance.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Demonstrates excellent safety behaviors and attitude and follows all safety policies and programs while promoting Quad’s culture which fosters safe practices through effective leadership.

  • Implementation and sustainability of Safety Management System (SMS). Lead SMS assessments at various Quad locations and provide training/assistance in SMS implementation across all Phases/Tiers.

  • Advanced knowledge/understanding of all OSHA regulations and regulatory requirements.

  • Engage manufacturing employees and leaders to create a culture where all employees will bring safety concerns to the attention of management and ensure all employees, contractors, visitors and stakeholders understand and follow Quad’s safety requirements.

  • Support Continuous Improvement and consistently look for opportunities to increase the effectiveness, quality and proficiency in our processes and systems.

  • Participate in management meetings and meetings focused on safety and improving processes/programs.

  • Maintain OSHA programs and assist with implementation, sustainability and training.

  • Assist in OSHA Recordkeeping, incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the development of resulting action items and preventative measures.

  • Provide technical advice, coaching, guidance and mentoring to employees and managers on safety initiatives and changes to our safety programs or processes.

  • Participate in safety audits and inspections and assist in coordinating implementation of corrective actions.

 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

Education: Associates Degree / Bachelor Degree

 

Experience: Degree in Safety or at least one year safety experience

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 

  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations

  • Experience implementing and managing OSHA Programs

  • Strong communication, decision-making and leadership skills

  • Proficient in computer programs such as Microsoft Products and Loss Control Software

Position Description

Job Summary:

The Truck Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of asphalt and related materials to and from job sites. This role plays a critical part in supporting paving crews by ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards.


Essential Functions:

Essential Functions of this position include

  • Shipping & Receiving - Efficiently and effectively manages incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.
  • Gather, fill, and/or prepare items for shipment.  Count, confirm, and document quantity. 
  • Determine shipment method, and use knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates. Compute shipment space available and/ or charges per standard procedures.
  • Loads and unloads shipments, and manages the palletizing and bailing operations to ensure that production processes accurately meet the customer job order and company recycling and/or disposal protocol. 
  • As needed, produce a label; print and proofread the copy; if accurate, print the appropriate number of labels. Forward and/or affix to a pallet as needed.
  • Protect client products and aid the department in securing and maintaining key industry certifications.
  • Operators frequently perform multiple functions during the shift - this includes maintaining the baler room. Cross-train as assigned.

EXAMPLES OF POWERED EQUIPMENT USED: Forklift, clamp lift, power lift, hand jacks, automatic palletizing equipment, computers, trash compactor, automatic labelers, roller-conveyor table, elevator sorting/staging platform; and bailer equipment. 

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
  • 1+ Years of material handler/Shipping/Receiving/Baler experience preferred but will train the right candidate. 
  • Be able to perform work-related functions requiring the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, fractions, and percent.
  • Read, speak, and understand the English language sufficient to interpret instructions, job orders, production sheets, and work-related documents. Able to communicate problems and malfunctions to co-workers and lead/management.

5 am - 5 pm Friday- Sunday +$2.00 weekend shift premium - Voluntary Overtime ever other Thursday may be available during the week.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Prepare for Operation - Check order documentation to prepare for make-ready operations. Make ready for production by setting up machine components to create products in line with customer specifications.
  • Operate Sheeting Machine - Operate assigned equipment according to Company policies and standard operating procedures. Observe and monitor machine operations to determine whether adjustments are needed. Perform routine adjustments as needed to alter position, alignment, speed, or pressure.
  • Perform Maintenance - Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of assigned equipment during shift.
  • Perform Quality Checks - Complete quality checklist(s) and other paperwork according to established standard operating procedures and perform quality checks of product throughout to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Perform Line Clearance - Clean assigned area by removing all products from the line, trash, boxes, and other supplies associated with a completed order.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of the equipment platform.
  • Solid Continuous Improvement background.
  • Expertise in all technologies of Production equipment.
  • Expert mechanical aptitude with experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of production equipment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be self-motivated to lead, model, and direct leaders' and crew members' efforts to maintain schedule and deadlines.
  • Must be able to read and follow directions and able to manage multiple tasks/projects.
  • Must possess good interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively in both written and oral form.
  • Must be prompt and reliable and able to work overtime as required.
  • Ability to organize, and manage people effectively.
  • Must be able to lift 10-15 pounds continuously, and lift to 50 pounds occasionally.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Must be at least 18 years of age.
  2. Previous manufacturing/warehouse experience is a plus but will train the right candidate. 
  3. Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Quad is seeking a full-time Recycling Technicians at our Franklin, WI facility. 


We have the following shift options to offer:


Sunday-Thursday Third Shift: 9 PM- 5AM 


Overtime is always a possibility, but never guaranteed.  Wages start between $18.00 - $21.00 / hour or more based on relevant work experience and stability with work history.  Other responsibilities of the position include:



  • Coordination of materials to be recycled within the plant using a forklift or tugger.
  • Removal of all recyclables from around the plant
  • Depositing recyclables into the recycling system
  • Operating the bailing and shredding system
  • Separating and storing the various grades of recyclables for shipment
  • Loading semi-truck trailers and rail cars
  • Complete basic forms for billing and service orders
  • Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations.
  • Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures.


Required Qualifications



  • Must be able to accurately complete billing and shipping forms.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to read and write; good verbal and written comprehension.
  • The ability to multi-task and prioritize job needs.
  • Ability to lift 10-15 pounds continuously and up to 50 pounds, occasionally.
  • Daytime hours, working 40 hours per week. 
  • Must be able to climb ladders above 12 feet high with or without reasonable accommodation.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Prior forklift or heavy machinery operation is preferred, but Quad is willing to train the right candidate.

If you are considering becoming a surrogate, it is important to understand both the medical process and the emotional journey involved. Gestational Carrier Requirements

To ensure a safe and successful journey for both carrier and baby, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Between 21–39 years old
  • U.S. citizen living in a surrogate-friendly state
  • Have delivered at least one child and are currently parenting
  • No more than two (2) C-sections
  • Not receiving government or public assistance (including Medicaid, WIC, SNAP/Food Stamps, or state-funded health insurance)
  • No history of pregnancy complications (including gestational diabetes, pre-eclampsia, or pre-term labor)
  • No history of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, or major depressive disorder
  • Not currently taking medications unsafe for pregnancy (including certain mental health medications)
  • Able to travel for medical screening, monitoring, and embryo transfer appointments
  • Live a healthy lifestyle free of illicit or recreational drug use
  • Have a stable home environment and strong support system

Compensation & Benefits

We recognize the commitment, time, and care involved in being a gestational carrier. xzgxqkn Compensation includes:

Base Compensation

  • $60,000 – $70,000(First-time carrier to experienced carrier)

Additional Benefits

  • $250 monthly expense allowance
  • $500 maternity clothing allowance
  • $10,500 for multiple birth
  • Up to $10,000 for loss of organs (per contract terms)
  • Lost wages (carrier and spouse, if applicable — based on employment verification)
  • Travel reimbursement
  • $200 per week for housekeeping (if medically necessary)
  • $20 per hour for childcare (if medically necessary)

All medical expenses, legal representation, and services related to the surrogacy journey are covered.
