<p>There are multiple roles open and can be located in any of the FE locations. </p>

<p>This position is responsible for managing, monitoring and controlling projects to ensure that they safely achieve the Project deliverables within the approved scope, cost and schedule. Employees at the senior level of this job family are recognized as subject matter experts. They lead by example, educate and direct others on technical subject matters and are responsible for solving highly complex problems and managing highly complex projects. At this level the Project Manager is expected to manage any project in the portfolio with guidance as needed from the Manager. Projects assigned will progress in complexity and variety to facilitate acquiring a breadth of knowledge and experience to become a subject matter expert. </p>

<p>FirstEnergy takes a market-based approach to pay, which may vary depending on your location. In addition, your actual base salary will depend on various factors such as your skills, qualifications, and experience. </p>

<p>The estimated pay range for this role is $108,800- $153,600. The pay range for certain locations, including the state of New Jersey, includes a 20% differential to account for an increased cost of living, making the pay range $130,560- $184,320. </p><p>Responsibilities Include </p>

<ul> <li>Reviewing Project documents for clarity and completeness - examples include contracts, requisitions, Bills of Material or Material Requests for Issue, Task Authorizations, and Engineering Work Requests. </li><li>Reviewing Project and contract budgets for adequacy, completeness, and other requirements and assuring that required budgets exist and Project budget revisions are initiated if required. </li><li>Focusing on ensuring that proper change management and application integration activities are included in the Project plan and monitoring the Project to ensure the planned tasks are completed. </li><li>Coordinating with Business Services personnel to prepare capital expenditure authorizations and associated Project budget revisions. </li><li>Providing the Management Sponsor with Project status (scope, budget and schedule progress) and identification of issues requiring management involvement for resolution. </li><li>Obtaining concurrence (or buy-in) from affected departments to support the proposed schedule and resource requirements. Reviewing and approving of Project Plans. </li><li>Validating that Project estimates are appropriately developed and that contingency is correctly applied. </li><li>Ensuring the tactical and strategic plan alignment of the Project. </li><li>Monitoring and/or reporting contractor resource levels. </li><li>Ensuring adequacy of Project Team membership and participation. Responsible for overseeing the activities of consultants and contractors. </li><li>Understanding the terms of the contract and associated documentation of services under the contract/purchase order. Upon mobilization to the site, reviews applicable topics delineated in the Service Contractor Orientation / Evaluation Checklist with the contractor. </li><li>Responsible for the quality assurance and control program, including identification of quality requirements, responsibility for QA program (Energy Delivery's or Contractor's program) and if required, review and approval process for contractor provided procedures. </li><li>Communicating Project goals, priorities and decisions to the Region / Corporate Leadership Team. </li><li>Ensuring Project challenge meetings, peer reviews and assessments are performed. </li><li>Working with Portfolio Management and/or Work Management personnel to develop and update the Project schedule. </li><li>Identifying and notifying the Project Team of additional resources or requirements necessary to meet the Project scope or schedule. </li><li>Ensuring the documentation, scheduling and disposition of open items applicable to department's area of functional responsibility. </li><li>Coordinating the close-out and lessons-learned documentation applicable to the Project; Audit completed projects to evaluate whether identified objectives and benefits have been realized or establish a time table of benefit realization. </li></ul><p> Qualifications Include </p>

<ul> <li>Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Construction Management or related field is required. Minimum of 8 years' related experience required.
