This position is with the Medicine Specialties Clinic mainly in the OPAT/ID clinic (Outpatient Parenteral Antibiotic Therapy Clinic). OPAT sees patients who have been dc'd from inpatient but need to continue their IV or PO antibiotic course as outpatient. It is a fast paced, hands on clinic involving PICC and Central line care and occasional wound care. Prior knowledge of Infectious disease, Central lines is helpful but not necessary. The position will also require cross training to our infusion clinic , OTC ( Outpatient Treatment Center) which is also a very hands on, clinical setting.
