Join a well-established team of 13 pediatric intensivists and 16 advanced practice providers who provide services in the Hospital's 23‑bed, multidisciplinary PICU. The PICU is expanding and being relocated to a new, redesigned space in the fall of 2025. The hospital will also be adding a dedicated 9‑bed cardiac unit featuring an acuity adaptable patient care model.

Ohio based Akron Children's Hospital seeks a Pediatric Nephrologist to join its expanding care team. Akron Children's Hospital is the largest pediatric healthcare system in Northeast Ohio and was recently named by Modern Healthcare as the fastest growing children's hospital in the nation!
The successful candidate will join an established team of three pediatric nephrologists who diagnose and treat children and teens with kidney and kidney‑related diseases, including high blood pressure, urinary tract infection, nephrotic syndrome, glomerulonephritis, kidney stone formation, pheresis services, kidney failure as well as pre and post‑transplant care. We also have a kidney dialysis and renal care center for children and teens whose kidneys have failed.
Requirements include board eligibility/certification in Pediatric Nephrology, and the ability to obtain an active medical license in the state of Ohio.
Academic appointment at Northeast Ohio Medical University is available and commensurate with experience.
This position is a 501(c)(3) site which qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness through the Federal government.
