Essential functions include managing system revenue accounting processes, preparing Culver Franchising System franchise fee revenue and deferred franchise fee process in accordance with GAAP ASC 606 revenue recognition standards, leading all aspects of Culver Franchising System royalty revenue, including customer records, reviewing monthly system-wide restaurant sales for accuracy, updating and preparing royalty spreadsheet for import and generating EFT file for transmission, verifying the accuracy of all bank account change information for EFT transmission records in the accounting system, preparing complex accounting entries, recording and reconciling complex accounting entries including investment journal entries, rebate revenue, and payroll entries, verifying and updating Culver Franchising System fixed assets and related depreciation records and documentation, managing centralized billing processing, reconciliation and billing to System restaurants, supporting internal and external financial reporting and analysis process including Culver Franchising System department level financial reporting, Family Restaurant reporting and analysis, and ad hoc reporting and analysis, supporting the financial consolidation process for System restaurants, engaging and sharing responsibilities with the financial reporting consolidation team by reviewing and analyzing franchisee financial statements, performing additional analysis on unreconciled accounts for corrections and communicating with franchisees and accountants on items that need additional review or submission; providing guidance on proper accounting standards and Culver Franchising System recommended chart of accounts, onboarding new users of the system in accordance with policies, and assisting with annual external audit providing auditors with information and backup documentation, preparing Family Restaurant monthly bank reconciliations. </p>

<p>Requirements include an associate's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, 2-4 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience, applied understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), experience creating and analyzing financial statements, and proficiency in Excel, and in creating complex formulas, tables and pivot tables. </p>

<p>Enter payments (i.e. various checks) into the financial system for Contingency Loans, Representative Payee accounts and various other payments and make deposits in designated bank(s) and with the County Treasurer.</p>

<p>Assists in Social Security application process regarding Representative Payee status for eligible children placed in foster care. Enters information in the eWISACWIS system and acknowledges payment. Reconciles expenditures with Social Security Administration.</p>

<p>Monitor consumer placements and services initiating/creating Service Authorizations for the department Staff Accountant enabling the payment of services rendered. Review billing statements from Providers, verifying authorization/placement forms are in place and services will be covered for payment.</p>

<p>Provide back-up to the Purchasing Specialist to include preparing purchase orders, entering authorizations into the electronic health record and sending the authorization to providers, ordering supplies, maintaining company vehicles to ensure routine maintenance is completed, gather credentials and training information on new CCS providers and register staff for trainings.</p>

<p>Assist Staff Accountant in preparing, amending and maintaining agency provider contracts.</p>

<p>Perform reception duties as needed, including greeting and receiving visitors, screen and route visitors and telephone calls, relaying messages, scheduling agency doctor appointments and processing paperwork.</p>

<p>Serve as the main program support for the Justice Diversion Program.This includes purchasing necessary program supplies, entering authorizations for services, entering data into state systems, maintaining program spreadsheets, and registering staff for trainings.</p>

<p>Enter provider charges into managed care system/financial system for payment.</p>

<p>Check and correct practitioner progress notes.</p>

<p>Serve as a backup for payroll duties when needed.</p>

<p>Additional duties as assigned.</p>

<p>Required Working Hours</p>

<p>Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am until 4:30 pm. Please note these hours are subject to change and additional hours may be needed or required. Compensation for additional hours beyond normal working hours are subject to applicable state and federal regulations.</p>

<p>Required:</p>

<p>Associate’s degree in Accounting, Human Services or other related field</p>

<p>3 years of accounting and/or Accounts Payable, Reception, or Purchasing experience</p>
