<p>Job Summary: </p>

<p>The Inclusion Coordinator ensures that children with disabilities or special needs receive high-quality, compliant, and timely support within an inclusive classroom environment. This position coordinates disability services, oversees IFSP implementation, ensures compliance with Head Start Program Performance Standards (HSPPS), Tribal governance, and Oregon Office of Child Care regulations, and builds staff capacity to implement accommodations with fidelity. The role emphasizes documentation, follow-through, interagency coordination, and collaboration with program staff and external partners. </p>

<p>Essential Functions: </p>

<ul> <li>Ensures compliance with HSPPS Subpart F (Additional Services for Children with Disabilities), Subpart C (Education), Child Care Development Fund requirements, Tribal governance, and Oregon Office of Child Care regulations. </li><li>Implements and maintains program-approved tracking systems to document referrals, IFSP timelines, accommodations, follow-through, and completion of assigned tasks. </li><li>Completes annual self-assessment of the Disabilities Service area and prepares required reports. </li><li>Compiles, analyzes, and presents annual outcome data related to Disabilities Component Policy Council, Tribal Leadership and staff. </li><li>Administers and monitors Child Plus Data Management for Disability Services area, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and audit ready documentation. </li><li>Coordinates timely referrals to EI/ECSE and tracks progress through evaluation, eligibility, and IFSP development. </li><li>Maintains communication logs documenting contact attempts, outcomes, and next steps with families and external agencies. </li><li>Ensures IFSP accommodations and strategies are communicated to teaching staff and implemented with fidelity. </li><li>Advocates for children and families to ensure timely assessment of special education services. </li><li>Provides families with information, support, and guidance throughout the referral evaluation process. </li><li>Provides training, coaching, and modeling to teaching staff on implementing accommodations, environmental modifications, and inclusion practices. </li><li>Collaborates with appropriate staff to ensure alignment between behavioral supports and inclusion strategies. </li><li>Conducts classroom observations to inform individualized planning and follow up coaching. </li><li>Shares relevant information with team members to ensure continuity of care and coordinated support. </li><li>Maintains interagency agreements with Local Education Agency (LEA's) and other agencies. </li><li>Coordinates services provided by Disability Specialists and ensures alignment with program expectations. </li><li>Works with EI/ECSE providers to monitor IFSP implementation and ensures communication between agencies and program staff. </li><li>Develops and implements Student Success Plans, ensuring alignment with HSPPS, Tribal Governance, and program goals. </li><li>Contributes to continuous quality improvement efforts, including data review, system refinement, and staff feedback loops. </li><li>Maintains current knowledge of ADA, IDEA, Trauma-informed Practices, and Head Start components. </li><li>Responds to communication within required timelines and maintains professional boundaries and adherence to chain of command. </li><li>Maintains confidentiality and demonstrates cultural values and respect for Tribal Values. </li><li>Provides weekly updates to Supervisor on referrals, IFSP status, pending tasks and classroom support needs. </li><li>Provides training to teaching staff during annual pre-service. </li><li>Handles challenging behaviors promptly and consistently according to established policy. </li><li>Reports cases of suspected child abuse according to established policy. </li><li>Reports concerns and incidents to supervisor. </li></ul> <p>Supervisory: </p>
