Job Summary
<p>The Branch Operations Supervisor leads and supervises the day-to-day functions of branch operations. Resolves SAP software issues, develops and reviews proposals for purchasing equipment, oversees all inventory modifications, provides leadership during the annual inventory process, and provides support for branch purchasing, product evaluations, code descriptions, inventory management, pricing development, and other related functions.</p>
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
<ul>
<li>Serves as a point of contact for all SAP training, system upgrade coordination, and branch change management, as appropriate.</li>
<li>Serves as the location's Training Coordinator regarding SAP, PC, Products, and Policy and Procedure training related issues, as appropriate.</li>
<li>Develops and/or reviews proposals for purchasing equipment.</li>
<li>Coordinates computer, telephone, equipment changes, upgrades, or problems with appropriate corporate staff.</li>
<li>Supervises all inventory modifications using the reason codes in SAP.</li>
<li>Provides leadership during the location's annual inventory process and with the Inventory committee.</li>
<li>Consistently provides responsive, quality customer service to our customers.</li>
<li>Actively participates in the coordination, analysis, and decision-making required by information and feedback of customer needs, pricing, products, competition, and problem resolution.</li>
<li>Works closely with Border States sales and/or marketing staff to provide internal leadership and support for promoting customer directed product, sales, and marketing programs within our customer base.</li>
<li>Provides administrative and operational support for branch purchasing, product evaluations, code descriptions, inventory management, pricing development, and other related functions.</li>
<li>May oversee inventory cycle counting, inventory performance, bin management, return management, and root cause analysis of inventory discrepancies.</li>
</ul>
Non-essential Functions
<ul>
<li>Assists with scheduling and coordination of product meetings and customer trade shows and other branch events and meetings.</li>
<li>Approves all inventory returns.</li>
<li>Responsible for the payment of all bills and donation payments for the branch within approved limits.</li>
<li>Coordinates with the Customer Financial Services staff to resolve customer-billing problems resulting from errors in pricing, shipping, delivery or other credit areas.</li>
<li>Completed branch reporting, as needed.</li>
<li>May facilitate new employee orientation and onboarding activities</li>
<li>Reviews and approves credit invoices.</li>
<li>May handle facility maintenance.</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or other designate.</li>

Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Minimum 2-year business/trade degree preferred or the equivalent in work experience.</li>
<li>Prior supervisory experience with a minimum of 2 years' prior customer service or sales experience preferred.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of electrical products and systems preferred.</li>
<li>Technical ability to understand electrical systems with a minimum of 3 years of prior electrical distribution experience preferred.</li>
<li>Prefer strong working knowledge of PC for Windows, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), internet, email, and SAP software.</li>

<p>DDS Engineering and Surveying, LLP (DDSE), is an experienced and highly qualified natural gas/civil engineering, permitting and survey firm that has been performing consulting engineering and construction services in the natural gas industry for many years. We currently perform these engineering services related to natural gas transmission, distribution main design, station design (M&amp;R, gate stations, and regulator stations) and customer services (residential and commercial) for a variety of natural gas customers throughout the Northeast. Our dynamic team is comprised of experienced natural gas engineers, civil and mechanical engineers, surveyors, gas construction personnel as well as in-house staff expertise in the areas of legal, compliance, and safety. With flexibility in location (NY, PA, MA, CT, RI) our fast-growing energy division is seeking thoughtful and highly motivated individuals to be part of our team.</p>
<p>The Gas Project Engineer is responsible for contributing to all phases of civil engineering for natural gas infrastructure projects. Will manage the design, engineering, permitting and approvals necessary for all projects. This Engineer can also expect to perform field-based activities as necessary.</p>
Skills and Experience
Required:

<li>1-2 years related experience in natural gas or utility design.</li>
