<p>FTI is searching for a <b>Lead Electrical Engineer</b> to join our Product Engineering team located in <b>Menasha, WI</b>. This Lead Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing and leading other team members in specifying electrical and electro-mechanical parts and assemblies that will be used within products that are used within the renewable energy, microgrid, EV charging, crypto mining, and data center markets. </p>

<p>The Lead Electrical Engineer will support the Design Engineering team in the design and qualification of electrical components, sub-systems, multi-level assemblies, and system architecture of various products that are used within the energy industry. This position will also work with other disciplines within the organization to understand customer and market requirements, design products to be easy to both manufacture and assemble, support products as they go through the Product Development Process, and support service and aftermarket needs.</p>

<p>This position will direct other team members within the Design Engineering team in design activities and along with aligning these activities to the project timelines. These team members will be both designers and engineers. This position will provide coaching and mentoring for their team through regular interactions to provide scope and direction for project tasks along with providing growth opportunities to their team. </p>

<p><b>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS</b></p>

<ul><li>Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent</li><li>8+ years of experience</li><li>Working knowledge in 2D/3D CAD design software (Inventor, CATIA, SolidWorks, Creo)</li><li>Significant design experience with low voltage electrical circuits, wire harness, PLC controllers, and complex electrical systems</li><li>Design experience in electrical components or equipment within the energy industry preferred</li><li>Design experience with programming languages and controls software preferred</li></ul>

<p><b>PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS</b></p>

<ul><li>10 years of product design experience preferred</li><li>Manufacturing and field support experience preferred</li><li>Experience in leading other team members preferred</li></ul>

<p>Travel: 10-25%</p>

<p>Work Location: This role requires work to be done Onsite from our Menasha, WI office. Our onsite roles include a high level of workplace and schedule flexibility to support a healthy work-life balance.</p>

<p>Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. Works a sufficient schedule to meet the expectations of the role. </p>

<p><b>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</b></p>

<ul><li>Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of their engineering team.</li><li>Provides coaching and development opportunities for their team through regular interactions.</li><li>Develops the design scope and timeline for their discipline within engineering projects.</li><li>Responsible for meeting project requirements and timelines</li><li>Research, create, and update engineering design standards to promote best practices.</li><li>Supports the design of electrical components and sub-systems for power/low voltage products including component selection, wire harness creation, assembly design and installation.</li><li>Performs complex design calculations to ensure design compliance with project requirements or reviews others work for correctness.</li><li>Studies and understands related government and industry standards that govern the products being developed. </li><li>Produce relevant documentation needed to meet project goals, electrical schematics, electrical component prints, electrical assemblies, and compliance documents.</li><li>Interacts with the Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Industrial Engineering staff on a regular basis.</li><li>Participate and present technical information during design meetings or reviews.</li><li>Supports the creation of 2D prints and 3D models at a system level</li><li>Help develop product Bill of Material structures to allow for modularity and configurability of products.</li><li>Reviews Bills of Materials and Change Notices to release components and assemblies.</li><li>Support costing activities to ensure pricing targets are achieved at the project level.</li><li>Supports the creation of technical manuals for operation and maintenance of related products.</li><li>Provide technical assistance for prototype and pilot builds along with production support as needed.</li><li>Works with suppliers to integrate various components into higher level system designs.</li><li>Supports service, aftermarket, and installation teams as needed.</li><li>Performs other related duties as required and assigned.</li></ul>

                <description><![CDATA[<p>This role requires the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.<br><br>Ready to take charge of construction projects while ensuring top standards of safety and quality? As a Construction Supervisor at Spectrum, you’ll coordinate both new builds and maintenance efforts, manage a dedicated team and facilitate ongoing project success. Your expertise will drive the performance and development your team, positively impacting our construction operations. <br>How You’ll Make an Impact Coordinate construction projects using in-house and contract labor for new builds, maintenance and rebuilds Collaborate with engineers and developers to design plant layouts, sketch equipment placements and prepare materials lists Monitor contractor performance, ensuring compliance with agreements and industry standards Conduct site inspections to uphold quality control for all labor teams Reconcile invoices against work completed in the field and review damage claims Manage permitting and make-ready processes, keeping project progress on track Foster positive employee relations on your team through effective support Working Conditions Work in both office and field settings, including confined spaces and at varying heights Exposure to dust, dirt, noise and weather conditions during day or night Frequent travel required <br>What You’ll Bring to Spectrum  Required Qualifications  Education Associates degree in electronics, related field or equivalent  Industry and vendor-specific certifications and training such as NCTI, SCTE, BCT/E Experience 3+ years of construction work experience Skills Leadership and supervisory skills, including motivating others and maintaining confidentiality Ability to work independently, effective prioritization and organization skills Proficiency with personal computers and software including Microsoft Office Knowledge of Spectrum / telecommunications products and services Skilled use of hand tools, electric drills, ladders, gaffs and safety harnesses Accurate measurement using tapes and devices Ability to climb poles and operate extension ladders up to 32 feet and 90 pounds Recognition of wire sizes and colors Cable connections in tight spaces and operation of relevant test equipment Ability to perform work at heights and stand for extended periods Handling small components to make cable connections Use of handheld communication devices and applications Ability to dig in different soil types Reading complex system layouts from blueprints Knowledge of mathematics, electronics, National Electric Code and National Electrical Safety Code Other Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record meeting Spectrum standards Safe operation of Spectrum vehicles and machinery for cable installation  Preferred Qualifications  Experience 1+ years of supervisory or leadership experience <br>#LI-SS1<br> EFR400  2026-76196  2026 <br><br>Here, our employees don’t just have jobs, they're building careers.
