Duties and Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive Registered Nurse (RN) care for residents
Perform comprehensive nursing assessments of residents and evaluate changes in condition to ensure appropriate interventions and care planning
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the attending physician and in accordance with facility policies and professional nursing standards
Provide skilled nursing care including wound care, IV therapy (as permitted by state practice), tube feedings, suctioning, catheter care, and other complex nursing procedures
Supervise, delegate, and provide clinical guidance to LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing personnel in accordance with state nurse practice acts
Ensure care plans are developed, implemented, and updated based on resident assessments and interdisciplinary team input
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and effective resident care
Accurately complete all required documentation, assessments, and clinical records in a timely manner and in accordance with regulatory standards

Position Summary Johnson Elementary School in Nahant is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to support students in our summer program. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for delivering all occupational therapy services in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), as well as completing all required documentation and reports.
Responsibilities
Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs.
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support student access to learning.
Maintain accurate and timely service logs, progress notes, and reports.
Complete all required documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal regulations.
Collaborate with special education staff, related service providers, and administration.
Participate in team meetings as needed.
Qualifications
Current Massachusetts licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
Experience in a school-based setting preferred.
Knowledge of IEP processes and special education regulations.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
