Duties

During the course of their careers, Secret Service Police carry out assignments in protection. Duties include:

  • Providing protection for The White House Complex, The Vice President's Residence, The Main Treasury Building and Annex, and foreign diplomatic missions and embassies in the Washington, D.C. area.
  • Traveling in support of the Presidential, Vice Presidential, and foreign heads of state/government missions.
  • Enforcing mandated protective responsibilities as described under Title 18, United States Code, Section 3056A.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Possess a current valid U.S. driver's license.
  • Must be at least 21 years old at the time of application and under 40 at referral. Exceptions may apply for those with current or prior service in federal law enforcement positions covered by special retirement provisions. The Secret Service has determined that age is essential to the performance of this position.
  • Carry and use a firearm. Maintaining firearm proficiency is also mandatory.
  • Possess uncorrected visual acuity of no worse than 20/100 binocular. Possess corrected visual acuity of 20/20 or better in each eye.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and manage patients with cardiovascular conditions including coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, valvular heart disease, hypertension, and lipid disorders
  • Provide outpatient cardiology clinic care and inpatient consultation services as needed
  • Perform and interpret non-invasive cardiac diagnostic studies such as transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, stress testing (exercise and pharmacologic), ambulatory rhythm monitoring, and cardiac imaging as applicable
  • Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
  • Manage cardiovascular medications and monitor treatment effectiveness and safety
  • Participate in preventive cardiology and cardiovascular risk-reduction initiatives
  • Collaborate with interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, cardiac surgery, primary care, and other specialists
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, lifestyle modification, and disease prevention
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and outcomes initiatives
  • Supervise and educate residents, fellows, or advanced practice providers as applicable
  • Comply with all regulatory, accreditation, and professional standards
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency program
  • Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Disease fellowship
  • Board-eligible or board-certified in Cardiovascular Disease
  • Ability to obtain and maintain unrestricted state medical licensure
  • DEA registration or eligibility

Position Summary Johnson Elementary School in Nahant is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to support students in our summer program. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for delivering all occupational therapy services in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), as well as completing all required documentation and reports.

Responsibilities

Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs.

Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support student access to learning.

Maintain accurate and timely service logs, progress notes, and reports.

Complete all required documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal regulations.

Collaborate with special education staff, related service providers, and administration.

Participate in team meetings as needed.

Qualifications

Current Massachusetts licensure as an Occupational Therapist.

Experience in a school-based setting preferred.
