*About the Position*

Kallstrom Automotive Services is a family-owned, growth-focused repair shop in Coon Rapids, MN. We work primarily on domestic and Asian vehicles and are building a shop centered around quality, integrity, teamwork, and doing the job right.

We are looking for a technician with strong diagnostic ability who can accurately diagnose and repair vehicles, takes pride in their work, and be part of a strong team that is continuing to grow.

*Who We’re Looking For*

* Proven diagnostic ability, including electrical and drivability systems
* Knows when to ask questions, use resources, and work through problems independently
* Shows up consistently, stays focused, and maintains a professional attitude
* Comfortable handling a mix of diagnostic, repair, maintenance, and inspection work in a team-focused shop

We are building a shop where technicians are expected to think, diagnose, and do the job right, not rush through work or rely on guesswork.

*Responsibilities*

* Diagnose and repair vehicles accurately and efficiently
* Perform advanced diagnostics on electrical and drivability issues
* Complete repairs according to manufacturer standards
* Perform inspections, maintenance, and repair work as needed
* Document findings clearly and professionally
* Communicate effectively with the service advisor
* Maintain a clean and organized work area
* Take ownership of work and ensure repairs are completed correctly the first time

*Requirements*

* Minimum of 5 years of automotive repair experience
* Proven diagnostic ability (electrical and drivability)
* Ability to produce clear, accurate documentation
* Valid driver’s license
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Professional attitude and strong work ethic

*Preferred (Not Required)*

* ASE certifications or willingness to obtain
* Spanish speaking ability

*Compensation & Growth*

* $40–$50/hr based on experience and diagnostic ability
* Quarterly team-based profit sharing
