<p>The Behavior Consultant develops and directs the individualized treatment of children diagnosed with behavioral health and developmental disorders. The BC provides training and support to the Behavioral Health Technician on appropriate therapeutic interventions targeted to reduce client(s) maladaptive behaviors and increase adaptive behaviors as outlined in the child's Individualized Treatment Plan (ITP). Services are provided in the home, school, and other community settings. This position reports to the IBHS Supervisor and the IBHS Director. </p>

<p>Responsibilities </p>

<ul> <li>Develop, design, and direct the implementation of the child's treatment plan. </li><li>Monitor, track, and interpret behavioral data. </li><li>Provide support and strengths-based instruction to families, caregivers, teachers, and all involved in a child's treatment. </li><li>Provide training, supervision, and consultative resources to bachelor level staff. </li><li>Participate in internal and external team meetings. </li><li>Demonstrate knowledge of functional behavior assessments (FBA). </li><li>Demonstrate good writing skills. </li><li>Receive encouragement and support to engage in research and professional presentations locally, regionally, and nationally should this be of interest. </li></ul> <p>Requirements </p>

<ul> <li>Be licensed in the state of PA as a Behavior Specialist OR </li><li>Have certification as a BCBA OR </li><li>Have a graduate degree in ABA OR </li><li>Have a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in providing mental health direct services to children, youth or young adults and a graduate degree in psychology, social work, education, or counseling OR </li><li>Completed a clinical or mental health direct service practicum and have a graduate degree in psychology, social work, education counseling or a related field. </li></ul> <p>Additional Requirements </p>

<ul> <li>Must have a valid driver's license, current insurance coverage and consistent access to a reliable vehicle. </li><li>Mandated Reporter and Safety Care Training within 30 days of hire. </li><li>Provide clearances with a clean record, free from allegations or findings related to abuse, neglect, exploitation or other criminal acts against children, i.e. Act 33, Act 34 or FBI Clearance. </li></ul> <p>Why Join the Achievement Center of LECOM Health? </p>

<p>Compensation: The ACLH offers mileage reimbursement, regular pay raise opportunities, and staff referral bonus. </p>

<p>Time Off: Semi-Annual vacation accrual for those employees working a minimum of 15 hours a week over a six-month period. </p>

<p>Incentives: 1 ½ times the staff's base hourly rate of pay once their annual productivity expectation has been met. Roughly 75% of current employees earn incentives- those who do, see an incentive payment of $1,000-$10,000 annually. (for those who work 30 standard hour) </p>

<p>Retirement: 403(b) Savings Plan enrollment with company match up to 6% of your contribution after one year of service. </p>

<ul> <li>One Year of Service is completed after working 1,000 hours within a 12-month period.
