The expert care allows families to keep their babies close by and in the same building as the Family Birth Center.

What You Will Do

Under limited supervision, assess patients, develop, evaluate, and modify care plans.

Interpret and perform complex patient‑care procedures specific to your expertise.

Member of the Care Team and Support Team, working collaboratively to accomplish patient outcomes identified in the pathway/plan of care.

Provide care to assigned patients via therapeutic use of self, nursing process, environment/technology, and teamwork according to established standards.

Minimum Qualifications

A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia.

Graduation from an accredited nursing education program approved by the Board of Nursing or deemed substantially equivalent.

Successful completion of a refresher course within the past 6 months if nursing practice has not occurred within the past 5 years.

Prior experience in NICU preferred.

The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting Medical Providers with day to day delivery of health care and patient care management. This position will report directly to the Office Administrator and will receive indirect supervision from the following: Physicians, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants and DSG Management. This position is patient focused with the objective of delivering superior patient care and ensuring positive patient experiences and outcomes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ensures an excellent patient experience with all aspects of the practice and associated interactions, including phone, in person, and online.
